Too Much Stuff

You don’t need me to Marie Kondo you. There are plenty of good resources about the joy of managing all of the accumulating we do. It’s worth the effort.

But it’s also worth considering all of the accumulating we do for our kids. How many of the toys around your house are actually used more than once? Did your kids (or grandkids) actually — really — play with them? Yeah, I know they really really wanted that toy — but did they really play with it?

We grownups don’t need so much stuff and kids don’t, either. Chose wisely. Purchase wisely. Surround yourself and kids with useful toys and enjoy real play.
